Google rolled out a new feature, giving you the ability to publish posts directly on your Google My Business page (former “Google+ Local” pages – you know, the primary Google listing that comes up in local searches for your business, and which has the Review section).

While this is a brand new feature, only time will tell how useful and powerful it is in your marketing arsenal. Here is a video “walk-through” of what it is, when to use it, and how to actually publish a post quickly.

Another useless feature?
Time will tell how powerful and useful this feature really is, but with consumers more and more engaged on their mobile devices, this seems like a logical evolution to the GMB page to better compete with Facebook pages and their messaging and event publishing and promotion features. It’s all about publishing things in a timely manner.

In the end, it’s all about reaching and engaging your target audience more effectively.
